Gerry Marsden & Julie Fernandez
In the 1960's when movie theaters sold one ticket and you could stay all day watching the same show over and over, our babysitter dropped us off and we watched Ferry 'Cross the Mersey and a Beatles movie 3 times each... literally all day. My sister, our two friends and I will never forget that day. For years after that, whenever we heard Ferry 'Cross the Mersey on the radio, we would cry.

Seeing Gerry Marsden at Boulder Station in Las Vegas, with his Pacemakers, on November 12th was a dream-come-true for me. Gerry's voice was great! He could hit those high notes better than ever, and he really involved the audience - but we really didn't need his encouragement... we knew all the words and sang along with Gerry. His band was excellent! They all fit together as if they had been playing from the beginning (of course some of them weren't around back then).

Forty years goes by so fast - and that Friday night all those wonderful memories from a much simpler time came back full force. It was a great night!

(I can't wait to get a copy of the video or CD of the movie when Apple will allow it.)

ADMIRATION AND AWE
After Frank, Sammy and Dean, who would be left to lead? Who had the talent and class to fill their shoes? There is only one answer for me, Paul Anka. He has never sounded better or Performed with such class as he does now. And, very easy on the eyes I might add.The old Vegas are slowly dying but it will forever live on in our hearts and in our dreams, as long as Paul is around. He is a singer, songwriter, composer producer and actor. Nobody does it better!

Besides being a great performer Paul is also a father of 5 daughters, and grandfather of two. He finally got his boy. What an honor it is for me to live in a town where the music never stops. Please treat yourself to an evening of nostalgia, fan and pure joy in seeing this incredible man! I adore him, I adore him, and I will love him till the end! Thank you Paul!
