In 1976 Linda (ROBINSON) McEWEN and Karen (CRONK) RAY located others who shared their interest in genealogy to form the:

CLARK COUNTY NEVADA GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY (CCNGS)
With hard work and dedication the Society has increased in size, and holds regular monthly meetings, a Spring (March) and a Fall (October) seminar, research trips as well as other genealogical events.

The purpose of the Society is to provide instruction for collecting, preserving and publicizing genealogical, historical and geographical materials.

Membership is open to anyone with the same goals as the Society.
