Chartered in 1986 with the following goals:Organize and maintain a viable local organization for diabetes educators.
Provide educational opportunities for professional growth and development of it's members.
Promote and aid the growth and development of quality diabetes education in the greater Las Vegas area
for the diabetes consumer and interested groups.
Foster communication and cooperation among the diabetes educators in the community.
